We are a boutique-sized world sales company focussing on cutting edge fiction features and documentaries that raise questions about relevant topics in the world today. We appreciate films with exquisite usage of film language, intriguing characters and thought-provoking topics. Each of has been a life-long devoted cinephile: we enjoy good filmmaking, and particularly the artistic decisions that surprise us. For us, people come first – we see ourselves as filmmakers' partners in reaching audiences worldwide, we care about transparency and collective decision-making, and we strive to create an environment in which every filmmaker is welcome to be a part of the distribution process. We are driven by our passion for films and honest approach.

 

Our Team


With our different backgrounds ranging from theatrical distribution, broadcasting, marketing, VOD, festival management, journalism, film editing, we offer various perspectives and create tailor made strategies for each of the films we represent.

Marcella Jelic
Sales and Acquisitions

Established Split Screen for festival distribution and film sales in 2022. She is also collaborating with theatrical distributor Restart in Croatia. Previously she worked for Taskovski Films where she held the position of sales and acquisitions executive. She was festivals and promotion coordinator at Croatian Audiovisual Centre and programming director of film TV channel Klasik TV and documentary TV channel DOX TV. Her background is in journalism and film criticism.

Lorena Morin
Festivals and Acquisitions

Lorena has been part of the team of the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria International Film Festival since its creation in 2001. Her responsibilities in the Festival have been creative production, planning and programming. She has been part of the team responsible for the identity and ideology of that Festival. In 2017 Lorena initiated MECAS, International Market Dedicated to almost Finished Films, the platform for the industry meetings in the Festival. She is living in Berlin since 2019 where she combines her work at Split Screen with the coordination of MECAS.

Igor Saracevic
Festivals and Acquisitions

Igor Saracevic graduated film editing at Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb, Croatia. Starting in 1988, he has for almost three decades been a film critic for some of the leading Croatian media outlets. He has worked in film distribution, as a Marketing and Distribution Manager, before a 15-year stint as a Content Manager of the Video-on-Demand service of Croatia Telecom's platform MaxTV.
