Soulful, touching and subtly funny, “Life After Siham” is a personal journey for director Namir Abdel Messeh, reflecting his bi-cultural background and grappling with the trauma of loss, but with an unexpected humoristic and auto ironic twist.  When his mother Siham passed away, Namir starts investigating his family’s history, between Egypt and France.  Mirroring the cinema of the giant of Egyptian cinema, Youssef Chahine, a story of exile — and above all, of love — begins to unfold.
