Split Screen – our main focus are documentary films, both shorts and features – with exquisite usage of film language, intriguing characters and thought provoking topics.
With our different backgrounds ranging from theatrical distribution, broadcasting, marketing, festival management, journalism, film directing, we offer various perspectives and create tailor made strategies for each of the films we represent.
MARCELLA JELIC
Sales and Acquisitions Department
Established Split Screen for festival distribution and film sales in 2022. She is also collaborating with theatrical distributor Restart in Croatia. Previously she worked for Taskovski Films where she held the position of sales and acquisitions executive. She was festivals and promotion coordinator at Croatian Audiovisual Centre and programming director of film TV channel Klasik TV and documentary TV channel DOX TV. Her background is in journalism and film criticism. Her main focus are documentary films, shorts and features – with exquisite usage of film language, intriguing characters and provocative, thought provoking topics.

LORENA MORIN
Festivals and Acquisitions Department
Lorena has been part of the team of the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria International Film Festival since its creation in 2001. Her responsibilities in the Festival have been creative production, planning and programming. She has been part of the team responsible for the identity and ideology of that Festival.
In 2017 Lorena initiated MECAS, International Market Dedicated to almost Finished Films, the platform for the industry meetings in the Festival. She is living in Berlin since 2019 where she combines her work at Split Screen with the coordination of MECAS.

ESMA SARIC
Festivals and Acquisitions Department
Esma graduated in film and TV directing at the academy in Sarajevo and is currently the first generation of Film master’s students at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Montenegro. She worked as an educator in the field of film directing at workshops organised by the UN and the University of Bologna, as well as a director at numerous international co-productions in Austria, Qatar, Turkey, Italy and Germany. Her short feature films were screened at numerous international and regional festivals. Her current position is at Split Screen and she works as a Festival and Acquisitions Manager. She’s also an award winning and published poet.

NAIDA SAHINAGIC
Sales and Acquisitions Department
As a great lover of music, Naida was one of the organisers of many music events, as well as the first music festival in Tuzla “Sound of Nature”. There she recognized her love for working with public relationships, and became a bachelor of economics / marketing, which helped her in her further work.
She believes that volunteer work helps a lot in building personality, so she was a volunteer in many organisations such as “LEAP IN” – youth conference, “OPEN FEST” and others.
In her free time she likes to read books and play the piano.
